TASC is registered to carry out audit work and is regulated for a range of business activities by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. The practice was founded in 2002 by Michael Ruddock.

 

Michael graduated from North London University in 1996 and took a position as an accounts analyst with Cornhill Insurance.


In 1997 Michael moved into public practice and over the following 5 years took positions within different departments of several accountancy firms in the South East of England. During this time, Michael managed client portfolios for a variety businesses, from small owner managed businesses to large multinational group companies, supporting and providing them with a wide range of services. Michael has been engaged in public practice ever since. He set up his own accountancy practice in 2002 that specialises in providing support for businesses and their owners.


TASC is supported by other like-minded qualified consultants. Together, we bring a wide range of technical abilities and practical experiences from a variety of business environments.

A quick word from Mike Ruddock…

Since starting up the practice in 2002 I have enjoyed every minute. I am fortunate to be given the opportunity to work closely with so many different businesses, gaining greater experience not only in terms of different industries idiosyncrasies, but also strengthening my knowledge on other aspects of running a business aside of the accounting function e.g. practical employee issues; insolvency risks; bad debts; legal disputes, etc.   It’s these experiences that I feel add value to the services we supply. We have real life practical experience of situations which help us give you the right support.


In the 5 years we have been trading I am pleased to say we have not lost any clients to another firm of accountants; and that 98% of our clients were recommended to us by existing clients. I would therefore like to take this opportunity of thanking our clients for their continuing support!


The style of our service is foremost professional and ethical, delivered in a relaxed and informal manner. So if you are a new start business or considering changing accountants please do give us a call.
